Racing this Saturday from 3.30pm
The Western Australian Government announced new public health measures that directly affect all participants attending Ellenbrook Speedway this weekend 8th January 2022.
These measures detailed below, must be followed and apply to all attendees at our venue including Patrons, competitors, crew, officials, staff, participants and any other person.
As of 6:00am on Tuesday 4th January 2022, all events with over 500 attendees are subject to the following
• All people 16 years or older to show proof of vaccination – this will be ongoing & will be required at all events at Ellenbrook Speedway in 2022 going forward.
• All people to wear masks – currently until 6pm Friday 7th January, this may be extended – please be prepared.
Allwest Plant Hire – Ellenbrook Speedway and the new WA Health Measures
• Allwest Plant Hire – Ellenbrook Speedway is now responsible for checking the COVID-19 vaccination status of all patrons aged 16 years and over as a condition of entry.
• All patrons must wear masks both indoor and outdoors when attending our venue. This currently is until 6:00pm Friday January 7th, but may be extended.
The health measures apply to all patrons at the venue including:
- competitors
- crew
- staff
- officials
- any other participants
Your Responsibilities
Please note, you will be required to provide your proof of vaccination upon arrival at the event.
This can be in the form of your digital certificate or at the very least, a notification of your vaccination status.
Proof of Vaccination
People will be required to show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination, either in a digital or paper-based form, along with approved identification. See the Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations page for more information.
It is available to all persons who have received at least two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine.
Both venues and patrons will have a shared responsibility when it comes to proof of vaccination, with venues required to take reasonable steps to ensure all patrons are double dose vaccinated, or exempt.
Acceptable forms of proof include:
• your COVID-19 digital certificate from myGov (external link) or the Express Plus Medicare mobile app (external link)
• your certificate stored in a smartphone wallet, along with an acceptable form of identification
• a hardcopy of your certificate, along with an acceptable form of identification
• a digital or hardcopy of your immunisation history statement, along with an acceptable form of identification.
Medical Exemption:
If you have a medical exemption, your doctor will update your record on the Australian Immunisation Register.

• your certificate stored in a smartphone’s wallet, along with an acceptable form of identification
• a hardcopy of your certificate, along with an acceptable form of identification
• a digital or hardcopy of your immunisation history statement, along with an acceptable form of identification.

• Proof of Vaccination is now required at all events for all people inside the venue aged 16 years or older.
• Perth Motorplex must check the vaccination status of all patrons prior to entry to the venue.
• Masks must be worn at events, both indoor and outdoor. (Currently up until 6:00pm Friday January 7th, but may change).
